This has been a big year for Knute. He has made significant progress in napping, loafing and sleeping however there is still room for growth in being mindful of classroom rules. In particular, allowing items to remain on the table. Sometimes, even after a warning, Knute will knock the same item off of the table again. I know he is working very hard and am excited to see the progress he makes in the new semester.

In the last 6 months I've only gotten 5 spam or scam calls or texts total. It used to be 5+ per day.
I can't tell if one specific change I made did it, or the combination.
Was it changing to #Linux ?
Was it #Fairphone with #Murena ?
Was it ditching my old cell carrier and moving my number to #XMPP ?
Was it bailing out of gmail or outlook for #opensource email options?
Was it abandoning corporate social media and replacing it fully with #Fediverse ?
Whatever it was, the silence and ability to use my phone for its intended purpose - talking to people I know - is glorious.
100% with you on this, there is no sustainable smartphone, Sustainable smartphone is a cord with a can. It's marketing being good at marketing.
That said, why are we supporting google devices? Is there a chance, hypothetically, there is any other more devices that are similar to what you are trying to achieve (pixel)?
You do understand that releasing a software and then the phone itself makes it quite similar to what others are offering, right?

A young #planet outside our Solar System.
The featured image from the #VLT surprisingly captures a distant scene much like our own Solar System's birth, some 4.5 billion years ago.
Although we can't look into the past and see Earth's formation directly, telescopes let us watch similar processes unfolding around distant #stars.
At the center of this frame lies a young Sun-like star, hidden behind a coronagraph that blocks its bright glare.
Surrounding the star is a bright, dusty protoplanetary disk, the raw material of #planets.
Gaps and concentric rings mark where a newborn world is gathering gas and dust under its gravity, clearing the way as it orbits the star.
Although astronomers have imaged disk-embedded planets before, this is the first-ever observation of an exoplanet actively carving a gap within a disk, the earliest direct glimpse of planetary sculpting in action.
