A small correction to this description— this new polyhedron is convex, not platonic. All platonics ARE Rupert; this new solid disproves the conjecture that all CONVEX 3d polyhedra are Rupert.And I agree, Noperthedron is a great name for it. I wouldn’t have noticed the name if you hadn’t pointed it out.

I visited the Fitzgeralds' grave completely by accident back in 1997, because it happened to be within walking distance of the Ford dealership where I was buying my first car. The dealer told me to come back in an hour while they prepared the paperwork. I went wandering down the street to kill the time, and there, in the middle of suburban DC traffic, found myself staring at the headstone of Scott and Zelda.
RIP. They deserve better.
Anyway, if you have somehow made it this far in life without ever reading "The Great Gatsby," do something about that. It's out of copyright now, so you can download a very nice ebook edition free from Standard Ebooks.
(They have a bunch of Fitzgerald's other work too, but this is the place to start.)

AMD: By the way there's a hardware bug and the resulting video's dimensions have to be a multiple of 64×16. We've added a partial workaround, but your 1080p videos will be 1082p nevertheless.

Sorry for going back to this, but it's just wild to me that apparently at no point during the development of RDNA 3, with AV1 encoding being a major new feature, did anybody attempt to encode a video in _the_ standard resolution of 1920×1080 on it?
They're like "yeah let's produce millions of GPUs and then be Surprised Pikachu when someone in a random GitLab instance notifies us that, oh, we can't do Full HD™"?!
