I am genuinely curious how she - and all the other s like her - plans to justify her actions in 2050, when it is undeniable that climate disaster is occurring. Because she isn't stupid, so she does understand the problem.

If they are thinking about it at all, I can only assume that they are banking on some kind of deus-ex-machina technology fix.
