I know it’s not perfect, but #Mastodon is still proving to be a breath of fresh air for me.
Having ditched FB, Insta, Threads and that place, I thought I’d got rid of anxiety-inducing social media. Bluesky is starting to produce that for me, and in a way, LinkedIn too.
I definitely do not regret signing up to Mastodon.

Volevo però far notare che in quegli anni "bui" (1863) anche un impiegato di basso livello poteva permettersi una "serva".

I’ve been thinking about the gap between learning theory and building real-world projects.
What if there was a platform where:
You could buy practical, real-world projects to learn from
Mentorship was included, guiding you through the project

And once you gain confidence, you could **sell your own projects back on the platform
This could create a cycle of learning → building → teaching → earning .
Do you think something like this would actually gain traction in the tech world, or would people not find it useful?
What would make such a platform truly valuable for developers, learners, and mentors?

Bref, plus que le naturisme, le changement des mentalités et la destruction du capitalisme glorificateur de la prédation semblent des solutions plus adaptées (mais moins simples à mettre en œuvre, cela dit).
@Khrys À part faire les poches de toutes les personnes qui entrent dans un bar/boite de nuit, les autres solutions que j'ai en tête reposent sur des atteintes à la vie privée.
Cela dit, sortir d'une culture de la masculinité basée sur la violence me semble de plus en plus essentiel.

The home server is back to native FreeBSD - the operation required less than 10 minutes - most of them have been used to unplug, take it to the upper floor, replug - unplug it again, take it back to the lower floor, and plug it back in.
Everything's fine.
Everything's working.
I'll document this setup on a blog post, in the coming days.
The power and simplicity of #FreeBSD always win.
