Are Project Marketplaces the Next Big Step in EdTech?
One of the biggest challenges in tech education today is moving from theory to hands-on projects. While platforms like GitHub, Codecademy, and Coursera cover tutorials and collaboration, a new category is quietly emerging: project marketplaces.
Some early attempts include:
GitHub Marketplace – extensions, tools, and templates developers can buy.
Codementor & MentorCruise – pairing mentorship with guided coding.
Udemy Project Courses – teaching via real project breakdowns.
The vision is clear:
Beginners could buy projects to dissect and learn from.
With mentorship, they could build their own skills faster.
Eventually, they could sell projects themselves, creating a self-sustaining loop.
This raises key questions for the tech community:
Could project marketplaces reduce the “experience gap” in tech hiring?
How do we balance learning value vs. copy-paste risks?
Will they complement open-source collaboration, or compete with it?
As hiring becomes more portfolio-driven, it will be interesting to see if these marketplaces evolve into a serious part of the developer ecosystem.

J'ai fini par réaliser que dans mon sous-sol, la table et l'insoleuse et le séchoir ne servaient plus que trois fois par an, et qu'iels en feraient bien meilleur usage que moi (et qu'en plus, si par miracle j'avais à nouveau du temps pour la sérigraphie, je serais bien content de ne pas me retrouver tout seul à l'atelier, pour une fois).
J'ai quand même le cœur un peu serré parce que c'est toujours difficile d'admettre que je n'arrive pas à faire TOUT à la fois.

Das wär ja klasse... ist aber nix und leider kommt nach ihm nicht eben gerade was besseres.
Ohne Aufstand und Köpferollen ändert sich nichts. Es ist ja nicht so, dass Trump plötzlich alles neu erschaffen hat. Was wir beobachten und erleben, ist die logische Konsequenz US amerikanischer Innen- und Außenpolitik der letzten 30 Jahren - oder sogar mehr.

Ich denke auch, es ist Wunschdenken, das ganze Übel an ihm und seinem engen Zirkel festzumachen.
Was wir heute erleben, ist die Konsequenz Jahrzehnte-langer Politik und wird auch nicht einfach verschwinden, wenn mal wieder Demokraten im Weißen Haus sitzen.
