Google will also charge money from #devs to allow an app to be installed as often as desired.
The numerous data (including ID copies, addresses, etc.) can then be passed on to third parties and (US-) authorities in accordance with Google's privacy policy. This exposes developers to an extremely high personal risk.

We have some pretty reliable confirmation that the links being sent out are malicious, DO NOT CLICK THEM. Report the post.
The other great advice in that boost is to know your mod/admin accounts. You can find them on the “About” page for any instance, even when not logged in.
We do not deputize random generic names from other instances to “verify” anything.

in reply to Amber • • •@puppygirlhornypost2 Piefed is similar to Lemmy and Mbin (Kbin is no longer active). But it, in my opinion, has some big advantages over others.
Moderation tools on Piefed are much better.
Crossposting to Piefed from a microblogging service is consistent whereas with Lemmy it is spotty.
But most importantly, Piefed is building the ability to port communities from one Piefed server to another.
The downside is that there’s not as many clients for Piefed, but that’s swiftly changing. Blorp on iOS runs Piefed really well.
