The completer menu pops up on a bunch of other things, like a line starting with % and also when referencing your own previously used tags in the meta data. But it is only on @ it crashes, and only if justified text is enabled.

I do have a hacky bit of code here. The Qt context menu event handler takes precedence when it's open, so I forward most keypresses back to the editor as this is how auto-complete menus generally work. This triggers a document change signal which is where it goes wrong.
