For an EC2 instance to write logs to CloudWatch and allow you to retrieve them, two conditions must be met:

i mathed it out and i'll be able to carry my entire (~400GiB) music library in good enough quality to not matter on my phone in ~50GiB
like, mp3 and vorbis were impressive for the same thing, but would almost take double the space and i wouldn't be able to have my whole library on my phone

About 1/3 of the projects in the list are still active in some form. None of them seem to have achieved a critical mass of use outside the bubble universe of crypto. i think that used to be true but realistically at this point in 2025 99.9% of the idealists have been washed out of the space and it's been completely overrun with grifters.
there are numerous former idealists who have become sceptics and have made very public criticisms to this effect.

It's a shame, because there are probably a handful of edge cases where blockchains are exactly the right tool for the job. But the hype bubble and the financial grifting has produced so much antipathy, that it's hard to make an argument for using them. Even where they are demonstrably the right engineering choice.
A bit like the way chronic overuse of JavaScript has poisoned some people against any use of it, however situationally appropriate.
