I'm frustrated: anstatt sich ausführlich mit dem Neuen auseinanderzusetzen, was hier passiert, wird der Text schnell zu ner "he-said-he-said"-Reportage, der die exzellenten Punkte unserer Sprecherin hinter einen imaginierten Cockfight zwischen mir und "Manuel" zurückstellt.
Das ist der 2 journalistische hatchet job vom nd ggü der neuen #Kollapsbewegung: es stünde einer linken, bewegungsnahen Zeitung gut zu Gesicht, ein bisschen feministischer zu denken, & reale linke Bewegungsprozess nicht mit Verdrängung zu beantworten.

Anaesthesia was practiced from about 1840, with Nitrous Oxide and then Ether.
Neither would be very good for a Gynae examination, nor would most women expect it even now.
However, quite soon they were making it more practical to do something about many surgical conditions.
Devices tend to be worked out fairly well, for function and form, and using available materials, quite soon after the need becomes apparent.

Matt Godbolt recently spoke at #ACCU2025 about -- amongst other things -- using C++ modules for his 'zx spectrum emulator'.
He put a good face on it, but to me it sounded like a complete shit show.
