Como solo quieres que afecte a la parte superior del plato, no necesitas, ni te interesa probablemente, calentar todo el horno.
Solo requiere que el plato esté lo más cerca posible de la resistencia superior, para que tarde poco, haga efecto en la parte superior del plato y no reseque o haga de más el resto del plato.

in reply to Miguel Espigado • • •Pero la resistencia de los microondas tiene mucha menos potencia que las de un horno convencional. Por eso puede que no lo veas muy efectivo. Y el adminículo elevador que te muestran en otro toot es imprescindible.
Personalmente dejé hace mucho de intentar utilizar la parte horno del microondas y pasé a organizar las sartenes de forma que puedo desarmar y volver a armar el tetris con facilidad.
De hecho mi idea para la próxima vez que compre un microondas, que me temo que será en breve, es buscarlo sin resistencia, lo hace más difícil de limpiar. Por los estudios de mercado que llevo haciendo, es difícil encontrar uno sin resistencia y suelen ser más varios que con ella. Contradicciones de la economía de escala.
