Ce n'est pas vraiment qu'ils sont "contradictoires", c'est simplement qu'ils ne considèrent pas que ces lois sont faites pour eux. Ce sont des lois pour les autres : les pauvres, les noirs, les arabes... Pas pour eux
Ils considèrent que ce qu'ils font eux (voler des sommes astronomiques, tracter avec des terroristes) ce ne sont pas des crimes car ils ne volent pas des porte-feuilles dans le métro. Ils achètent parfois de la drogue mais ils ne la vendent pas au coin des rues.
La plupart du temps, ils ont raison car les crimes des riches (et des blancs) sont largement moins punis, et moins sévèrement que ceux des pauvres (et des noirs et des arabes)
Mais tout de même, de temps en temps, la justice les rattrape malgré les inégalités structurelles. Et là ils crient à l'injustice car le système qui les protège habituellement a flanché. C'est une victoire pour tous les partisans de la justice égalitaire et de la démocratie

Been following the BSD conferences for a while and have not yet had the chance to attend one. But what i have noticed from all the videos and photo's published on social media is that it seems to be a male ( I'm going to include NB folk here too ) dominated event ? Maybe I'm wrong and it's just how the media published distorts the reality ? Apologies if I have offended anyone it certainly isn't my intention.
From what I'm seeing in real life, there are lots of male-looking persons, but they are also some female-looking persons (I try to avoid pissing off people, I'm sorry in advance for mistakes). I would say the media that are posted might distort the reality, but it's also a good reminder to try to include everyone in our events
#EuroBSDcon is indeed very heavily male; however compared to events of the more distant past, there is a code of conduct and an excellent code of conduct team: eurobsdconfoundation.org/code-… & we welcome more ladies every year, which is encouraging. Personally I've found the events to be quite welcoming to all. There are a number of less-abled folks attending & they've been well accommodated. There seems to be a certain recognition that the *BSD community needs to continuously improve in order to survive & thrive.
5 hours in an here's the thing: everyone at @EuroBSDCon@bsd.network is phenomenal! Everyone is friendly, and saying hi when I walk by no matter they don't know me (plain curtesy). Everyone kinda waits for their turn during conversation...
Its become increasingly clear that central to the Tangerine Tyrant's politics is a well-developed tolerance for disorder... where other politicians /leaders see order as the end-point of governance, if anything Trump sees order as a threat to his influence & power - his strategy is alway disruption (which may be why the TechBros think they can work with him).
Whether the rest of the USA (and the world) can live with this continual disordering is another matter.
