This painting feels very mystic, like a glimpse into a secret, magical world that exists just beyond our own. The moonlight filtering through the dark trees gives it a dreamlike and ethereal atmosphere.
The artist did a great job of creating a sense of dynamic energy. You can almost feel the swirl of the dance as the fairies circle the clearing, and the flutter of all the tiny wings in the air and on the ground.
