Would you feel different if your content was in the built-in A.I. helper (e.g. DuckDuckGo's Search Assist) with it quoting you as a source? What about when your post appears as one of the sources in a chatbot answer (e.g. Grok, Perplexity, etc)?

In this fascination with state history, Texas resembles other southern states. Yet the distinctive history of the Texas Revolution and Republic lends that past a special interest.
California has a very distinctive past, and those interested in US history will often take an interest in the history of California in a way they do not with, for example , Pennsylvania.

The dot-com bubble led to a bunch of useless tech that got built and subsequently scrapped. But the internet of the 2000s and 2010s was built out of the bubble's corpse. It took a couple new generations of technology (telecoms and CPU) and slower thinking to do so.
I believe that useful AI will be built out of the corpse of this bubble. Similarly we need a few more generations of GPU tech to make it viable and slower thinking to make it useful.
