They started life with nothing and she has made a real tremendous success of herself. So they still live in the same little house in an area which is..... not great.... but refuse to move because they love the house so much. It's really interesting to see what unlimited money does in an environment like that. He gave up work years ago and now spends all of his time caring for animals and his beloved garden, building things and experimenting with various substances. Let's say it's different flavours of fizzy pop or types of bread or whatever. They have a teardrop caravan trailer and basically just go to every gig or festival they want to. I want to be them. They are the coolest people I know. Except for perhaps their son (and wife) who is my BiL and bestie. Who is inexplicably even cooler. A gentle giant and animal whisperer, tattooed, often wandering about in blue animal print trousers and pleather cowboy shirt and no shoes. Can usually be found just hanging out with a parrot on his shoulder talking about music and marine life.
