@Test magazine
This is the text of the post. We'll add some bold and italic formatting and a link.

I clicked on favourite. Did you get any notification?
Maybe not but you never know 😛

@SparkIT I think so: I see them on the notifications page; but keep in mind that I'm writing from friendica, and I have deactivated real-time notifications for likes

wait, my previous message has no @ so it doesn't show on friendica.
in reply to SparkIT

It should be visible, kbin inherits handle from parent.

I tried another one and it works, sorry. When I wrote the 1st one earlier it didn't (maybe lag?) and I thought the boost was the reason why it was reshared.

Yep. You have likely encountered an update ;) Currently, the instance has only one node, so temporary interruptions in broadcasting are possible. Everything is being queued and should be resolved over time.

The icing on the cake is that I saw this post and I am replying via Calckey/Hajkey

it is not a post, but an article! how did that happen, as it was not sent from a group?

Not sure what I did with Friendica notifications, but it seems the only like that shows up on the message is the one from Mastodon.
