I contacted 98 European representatives asking them to reject indiscriminate scanning of private messages and defend end-to-end encryption.

Protecting children online is urgent. But mass scanning private communications is not a democratic or technically safe answer.

Europe needs targeted investigations, strong victim support and real safeguards, not surveillance by default.
