There is an ongoing issue with the data center that is causing slowdown in Masto.host infrastructure: public-cloud.status-ovhcloud.c…
It supposed to be fixed already but I am still seeing some problems. I'm investigating and will update once I know more.

in reply to Masto.host • • •At the moment the support is not even answering calls and the message on the phone is that they are ongoing a maintenance. So, at least they should be working to solve this as soon as possible.

in reply to Masto.host • • •I believe the source of the issue is with Object Storage uploads. So, instances with a lot of federation will be impacted with slowdowns, while instances with less federation will not be impacted by slowdowns.
I managed to get in contact with someone at OVH and I am waiting for a call back.

All of the addresses exist and their instances aren't down, I can view the account profiles' original pages.

So, if you try to fetch an account and the avatar/header needs to be cached locally that will fail because it needs to be uploaded to your server storage and that is what is failing.

My suspicion is that when they fixed public-cloud.status-ovhcloud.c… they reverted some default configuration and that is causing the upload failures.

This will cause an extreme load in the infrastructures and servers with large queues will experience even higher slowdowns for a while. But this actually a good sign, the queues are being processed.
Will keep monitoring and I will update once I know more.
