Texas makes sure only rich old white people vote.
There's no absentee voting unless you're over 65, and it's very hard for many disadvantaged people to go through the absentee process. Polling stations for people of color are often closed or changed at the last minute. The state also took away Houston's right to oversee its own elections, because voting rights in Houston alone would turn Texas blue.
The Roberts court allowed and enabled all of this.
