#Ethics-at-scale in #FOSS. Who cares?

That's only small part of the story, but good example. Where it says Meta you might fill in the name of any corp or group thereof. The anecdote in the the toot above is indicative of a much more general issue that exists in #FOSS. We cannot control the larger picture, effectively 'dump' tech into society on license protection alone, a de-facto "tech means progress" assumption.
