“Have you ever wanted to fly across a border more than 40 times in one minute? No? As of last month, you can do it anyway: By hopping on a swing in the towns of Baarle-Hertog-Nassau, you can fly from the Netherlands into Belgium and back.”

Did you try it, or did you calculate it?

My office was in Switzerland, but I usually ate lunch in our cafeteria just up the road in France. 😁

It was very different as the place where I had spent most of my summers was close to the border with Soviet Union. Heavily guarded hostile border then and now.

I know the times in the past when it was impossible to go spontaneously to Czechslovakia (CSSR).

Funny thought and a little bit creepy.

Until now I thought the "art border" between Switzerland and Germany is a nice symbol for a merging Europe but the swing tops it!
