I'm just me, typing out words to a bunch of random people, hoping they will read them. I don't know anyone yet, and it's tough being the new person. So please, take pity on me and say "hello"

If you want help with anything specific, feel free to ask. There is also lots of support for new people on the website at fedi.tips (especially the "Quick Start" section).
It may be a bit quiet when you start here, but there are guides on discovering people ( fedi.tips/how-do-i-find-accoun… ) and being easier to discover ( fedi.tips/how-do-i-get-more-fo… ) which may help 🙂

Hello!
It took around months to me to get part of it but now I'd never go back to where I'm from.
So don't be frustrated if at first you feel as if nobody cares about you.
Just start following people you like, they'll start following you and things will get better.
