Expected, that is when poverty really cuts in to our lives.
So, effectively, if you're disabled you can only get a disabled railcard if you have been awarded disability payments within the last year.
If you have been disabled for over a year and in receipt of payments for more than 12 months, they refuse to give you a disabled railcard because your award letter isn't recent.
Sounds like discrimination against the long-term disabled to me!
