1. Is healing frightening? To many, yes. For accusation is a bar to love, and damaged bodies are accusers. Oh, es scheint im Moment eine größere Bewegung von Diaspora* zu geben. Natürlich finde ich es toll, wenn sie zu Friendica oder einem anderen Projekt im Fediverse kommen. Auf mich wirkt es jedoch auch so, als könnte Netzwerk damit weiter ausbluten. Das wäre echt schade, weil diese Community etwas ganz besonders ist.
Ganz unabhängig davon: Allen ein herzliches Willkommen und denkt daran, mit Friendica bist du weiterhin mit all deinen Kontakten auf Diaspora* verbunden. Das Netzwerk lebt damit weiter. Deine Beiträge sind in beiden Welten zu lesen.

I’ve probably said this before but when I started birding in 2016 or so, Loggerhead shrike was on the list of common birds in my area so I figured I’d see one pretty quickly. I didn’t know they were in decline largely due to habitat loss and it was maybe three years before I finally found one. And not on the mainland but on Limuw (Santa Cruz island). That’s still my most reliable spot to see them. I don’t have any trips planned (waiting out this NPS drama) but I have many good memories.
