I whole heartedly recommend The Garden Simulator Cozy game for anyone who likes 1. Gardening 2. Simulator games 3. And mild memory games.

For me the game is bit hard since I need to write things down to remember them (no tagging ingredients system), but otherwise it is wonderful hyperfocus game. (:

I borrowed the game from library and can still see myself sinking a lot (more) time into it.

Simple measures like fans, efficient heat pumps and rooftop solar – combined with smarter building design and passive cooling – could keep homes safe, energy use low and emissions in check.

From the OP About Double Hung Windows: My first degree is in architecture, so I'm not just talking out of my posterior here.

If you look at your windows right now, they are probably either caulked shut around the top pane or caulked all the way around. Get rid of that caulk.

The way these windows are designed to work is to both lower the top sash and raise the bottom sash AT THE SAME TIME.

Heat rises, cold falls. You may remember that from school. The rising hot air flows out the top of the window and creates a negative air pressure in the room, which helps to draw in cooler air from the bottom even if there is no breeze.

You can also put a window fan in either the top or the bottom, using WAY less energy than A/C. We do this ourselves. Ideally have awnings on windows that receive a lot of direct sun when it's hot, like south or west facing windows.

Failing that, use some frosted UV blocking cling on the glass to cut the sun.

First treatment this morning. This was using MRgRT, MRI-guided radiotherapy, which is a huge MRI that’s got a linear accelerator wedded to it plus an array of magnets and shields so both can run at the same time. The MRI provides live view for tech and computer to track the tumor in relation to where the beam will be applied: no alignment, no beam. Once you exhale and hold breath just right and it's aligned, you get an emoji ... and radiation.

Kein sanfter Start… Auf 700m bin ich losgelaufen, auf knapp 2.300 war ich müde und es fing an zu regnen, also hab ich an einer schönen Stelle unterhalb vom 1. Pass das Zelt aufgebaut. Jetzt hab ich Polenta im Bauch und genieße die Tropfen auf dem Zeltdach – morgen ist es wieder schön!
