I'm going to be honest, this is a cry for help more than anything.
Since April I have been struggling with the negativity and hostility around a major part of my identity (#trans). It's a constant, and it's mentally draining me. I don't know how long I can keep going on for with it.
How are other people coping with it? I really wish that I could put this in the back of my mind but I can't. I would welcome any advice.
If you feel like you are able to boost for reach, that would be really appreciated.

I'm holding on in the face of all this hate and transphobia largely due to one thing:
Spite.
Pure spite.
The fact that they're wasting so much time and brainpower and ruining their lives to hate me, all I have to do is keep living to keep them focused on hating me and not being able to move their focus on the next "Then they came for" in line.
I won't give them the pleasure of seeing me off myself. Or letting their hate ruin me. Because that's just how much I hate them. If I can keep going despite it all, it's my one woman Fuck You against some of the most powerful awful fuckheads people in the world.

Yeah that's totally real and understandable.
The other thing I've done with my loved ones is to establish a safety plan so they know I might need their help and we can figure out in advance how to get help to me that doesn't involve cops or imprisoning me in a hospital.
