Het is al een jaar of 3 geleden dat ik voor het laatst bij macdonald's heb gegeten. Op de socials zie je genoeg filmpjes - voornamelijk uit Amerika - waarin mensen heel trots een "uitgebreide maaltijd" samenstellen met gegrilde dingen, véél vlees*, sausjes, 'groenten' en daar dan snoevend een hap van nemen... Het is allemaal het grill- en barbecue-gebeuren waar ik niet van houd. Ben ik nu de Mac aan het buckleren?
*echt veel vlees is een macdonald's burger nou ook weer niet, de knieperds.

An open-ended question for all you computer geeks: what would you want to learn, see or try when it comes to first (vacuum tubes, 1948-1960) and second (transistors, 1956-1963) generation digital computers? Is it architecture? Capabilities? Software? Programming? Quirks? "Can it run Doom"? Things that became obsolete? Things that stayed the same? Something else completely?
Can't promise I'll deliver, but I'm curious to know!

@stylus Isn't this partly what the D-Wave systems are doing? They have lots of marketing about quantum, and the "qbits" they use (which aren't, in the Shors-algorithm sense). But AIUI, what they do have is a really really good simulated annealing system which uses actual annealing of collections of quantum states to solve problems.
So it's basically using physics to solve problems that map directly to physical processes -- in other words, it's an analogue computer.

Bisher scheinen ja 2 Straßen / Gasse identifiziert. Die sind ja mit Kommata getrennt, und an Ende des Ausschnitt ist ja auch ein Komma.
Für mich sieht es so aus, als ist die Aufzählung unter dem Gedruckten fortgeführt, und dann mit langem Durchstrich beendet.
Steht unten vielleicht "Hühnerposten"? Ich weiß es sieht nicht ganz stimmig aus, wäre aber sehr nah der Idastr. wo sie mal gewesen sein soll nach dem Blogeintrag.

in reply to Schlüssellochkind 👁️ • • •Idee ist: Vielleicht waren Adressen noch nicht vollständig durchnumneriert, und man hat das Carree {Blog schreibt: "Hanse Carree (Sachsenfeld/Nagelsweg)/Tri Tower (Hammerbrook Straße) in der Idastraße"} mit den angrenzenden Straßen umschrieben.
Hab Jdastraße gefunden!
Da ist noch eine Gasse in der Mitte, könnte evtl. Georgsterrasse sein..

"Terrasse" war in Hamburg aber auch die Bezeichnung für eine Hinterhofbebauung (siehe hier: de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wohnte…) und die Annahme, dass die einzelnen Riegel ebenfalls Namen trugen, ergibt ebenfalls Sinn.

Ob die unbebaute Stelle ein Weg oder "Terrasse" ist erkennt man ja nicht, evtl findet man noch ein Foto / Zeichnung in KZ-Archiven.
Solche Adressen hat man bestimmt "routinemäßig" für den Postboten passend zum leichter finden so geschrieben ;)

"Terrasse" könnte auch der Zugang zum Kanal sein. Die Wasserstraßen wurden ja auch viel benutzt, und nach dem Plan erreicht man über die sehr viel.

Rein vom Gefühl her scheint mir Jahnstraße stimmiger. Könnte aber auch ein Trugschluss sein, weil Jahnstraße hier im Norden ein sehr geläufiger Straßenname ist.

Meine Frau ist sich absolut nicht sicher, ob Hamburg so geschrieben wird. Ein H sieht anders aus, ein h würde so aussehen.
