There’s this stereotype that only the US, UK, and Japan were making good video games during the 80s and 90s.

Truth is, a whole lot of countries had killer titles that are obscure to this day. Partially, this is due to platforms that were popular elsewhere. But mostly, this was due to language.

France had its own micro-computer platforms like the Oric. L’Aigle d’Or (1984) is a good example of this.

Atari 8-bit was popular in Poland. This is because Jack Tramiel was Polish Jew (survived the Holocaust) who was able to sell a good many Atari hardware while Poland was still Communist. Robbo (1989) is a good example.

South Korea is interesting because they rejected Japanese consoles entirely. As a result, the game development scene privileged DOS over Nintendo. Games like Astonishia Story (1994) look like JRPGs for the SNES. But be rest assured, they’re actually KRPGs for DOS.

And all of the interesting games for the PC-98. I get the impression that most of them still haven't been translated.

Are there any proof-of-concept implementations for this (both AP client->server and server->server interop)?

New York just took a shot at personalized pricing.

Under a new state budget law, businesses that use personal data to set different prices must disclose it to customers with a notice.

I was blessed with having the honor of meeting her and actually listening to her talk about her experiences. It was amazing and at the same time terrifying.

One of my first paintings with color back in late 2022. I had only done monochromatic drawings most of my life, and wanted to teach myself color and painting. This is basically a colored drawing, and a big first step! It's called, "Cozy Cat."

My lifestyle is perhaps most heavily influenced by historical figures largely from within the United States and American history, though additional influences, even fictional influences, should also be considered. The most significant influences to my personal preferences include George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, James Monroe, John Quincy Adams, Martin Van Buren, William Henry Harrison, Benjamin Harrison, and numerous former U.S. Presidents in between as well. Additional influences include Susan B. Anthony, Lucretia Mott, and Elizabeth Cady Stanton–all first-wave feminists associated with the Yankee region spanning eastern Massachusetts to western New York–as well as Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Gouverneur Morris, and similar figures swaying American history largely in a more progressive direction. Even though I often feel influenced by the early Presidents of the United States and other Founding Fathers, I often feel that these are recessive influences while my New England and Mid-Atlantic historical figures of influence often dominate my personality type.
