I am a touch typist and much prefer that to having to take my hands off the keyboard and muddling around with the mouse.
Is that function no longer available? I have been away for a long time, so I have forgotten what the "emoji start symbol" was.

in reply to MaryPot • • •Yeah, if you remember the exact name of the custom emoji, you can start by typing :angrycat and it will appear in the suggestions.
The more general keywords don't seem to work with custom emoji.
