I remember all the techno-optimists cancelling their reforestation donations when Climeworks launched, but like all DAC it’s not even capturing enough carbon to cover its own carbon footprint. That makes it more of a problem than a solution, especially as it’s distracting from genuine proven solutions.
Maybe it’s critical research that will help future DAC projects, and one day somebody will crack it after just a few more billions/decades.

there are many sports-related shows/contests/whatever that still allow Russian athletes to participate either under a "neutral flag" or even under their own genocidal flag.
As you can guess, Ukrainians hate the guts of these shows' organizers, and the fact that genocide supporters are allowed to participate.
And yet, we don't scream "fuck you" to everyone who watches them. We don't have anything against viewers — because there's a big ass difference there.

sorry, I meant "we" as in Ukrainians. What I mean is, it's fine to be mad at Israel, Eurovision, politicians, etc. But saying "fuck you" to regular folk who just watch the show is, at least, not practical — you'll only madden them at yourself, not Eurovision or Israel.
We, Ukrainians, generally don't get mad at viewers of shows where Russia isn't banned. We try to do our best educating them, and we pity those who don't listen.

Smartphone, des ressources pour vous et vos enfants
Comme je suis dans ces questions là car mon fils à 15 ans et qu'il va avoir son 1er smartphone (un samsung galaxy S10 avec /e/OS installé acheté sur leboncoin), je vous partage des ressources que j'ai trouvé. Et mes réflexions autour de cela.
Le 1er lien s'adresse directement aux ados, ce qui est super je trouve pour les sensibilieser. Le 2eme lien est plus pour les parents isc2.api.tralalere.com/sites/d… mais personnellement je vais aussi le faire lire à mon fils pour qu'on puisse en discuter.
Mon fils va aussi signer une charte de bon usage que nous lui avons demandé d'écrire lui même. Nous l'avons ensuite regarder et écrit les points qui nous semblaient manquants.
La communauté de /e/OS m'a également conseillé une super appli opensource qui s'appelle timelimit.io (timelimit.io/en/) qui me permet de mettre une limite de temps d'usage par jour des applis et d'ainsi bloquer l'usage même en 4G. C'est super configurable : On peut mettre des applis dans un catégorie et dire que le temps d'usage de cette catégorie est d'1h par jour par exemple et une autre catégorie ou c'est bloqué tout le temps. Pour cette dernière c'est ce que j'ai fait pour Applounge et F-droid pour pas qu'i'l installe des applis trop facilement. Bon le seul problème c'est que je n'ai pas compris comment je peux empêcher mon enfant de désinstaller Timelimit ou applications. Je pensais que la désinstallation se faisait par l'installateur d'application du coup je ne sais pas quelle appli ou fonctionnalité je dois bloquer pour empêcher ça.
