ArchivedFrequent TikTok users in Taiwan are more likely to hold certain political views aligned with Beijing's narratives, according to a recent survey by Taiwan-based NGO DoubleThink Lab.
Conducted in March and released on June 5, the survey compared "active" TikTok users - defined as those who use the app several times a week for over 30 minutes per session or several times a day with shorter sessions - with "inactive" users who spend less time on the platform. It explored their views on a range of issues including cross-strait relations, democracy and U.S. support for Taiwan.

The last 3 years or so I have been adding to my Sony lens collection, & have some impressive glass at this point. But one of the very first ones I picked up, a Tamron 28-75 VXD G2, in so many ways remains my favorite.
Lightweight, fast-focusing, quiet, & reasonably priced. It is capable of producing some stunningly sharp pics.
Even compressed some 75% for example, the detail of this Steller's Jay is something.

He reckons that the widely held belief amongst the intelligence communities is that Iran has had the technical capability to build nuclear weapons for 15 years. However, they had decided not to do so for political reasons. He asserted that the US, Israel and to a lesser extent the UK and the rest of their friends, were lying about Iran's current capabilities and intent. However, he is now dead certain that the effect of the USA and Israeli behaviour will guarantee that they will decide to press ahead to develop their own nuclear weapons if they can.
Well done, Trump and Netanyahu. War criminals, both of them. I hope I'm still around to see them both behind bars.

Ihr spielt zusammen eine Katze, die ihr neues Zuhause entdeckt - Was für ein bezaubernder Plot!
Die Grundidee und das schräge Design mit den vielen verschiedenen Katzen sind auf jeden Fall 5 von 5 Sterne wert. Aber bei der Umsetzung der Druckausgabe gab es leider ein paar Logikfehler, so befindet sich z.B. die benötigte Karte der zu erkundenden Wohnung auf der Rückseite der Katzenfiguren, die theoretisch ausgeschnitten werden können. Allerdings sind die Vorlagen zum Basteln auch online erhältlich, weshalb es dafür von mir keinen Stern Abzug gibt. Aber Obacht, bevor ihr die Schere ansetzt!
Sonst hatten @zwecki@buecher.pnpde.social und ich heute eine sehr vergnügliche Zeit mit dem Spiel. Eine klare Empfehlung!
