Die Deutsche Umwelthilfe (DUH) reichte vorletzte Woche eine Klage gegen das Land Baden-Württemberg ein, weil die grün-schwarze Landesregierung die Klimaziele verfehlt. Die ohnehin schwache und selbst gesteckte Zwischenetappe 2030 wird nicht erreicht und der grüne Ministerpräsident aus eigenen Reihen, der Grünen Jugend, kritisiert. Das gerichtlichen Vorgehen zielt darauf ab, dass noch vor der Landtagswahl nächsten Jahres durch Sofortmaßnahmen nachgebessert wird. Der Umweltverband beruft sich auf das Klimaschutzgesetz, das zusätzliche Maßnahmen vorsieht, sollte eine "drohende erhebliche Zielabweichung" festgestellt werden. Vorgeschlagen hat die DUH ein landesweites Tempolimit auf Autobahnen, Tempo 80 außerorts oder die energetische Sanierung von Schulen und Kitas. Winfried Kretschmann selbst, mit Unterstützung der CDU und Junger Union, bewertet die Klage für überzogen und begründete dies durch die AfD-ähnliche Position, Baden-Württemberg mache nur einen geringen Teil der globalen Emissionen aus und es müsse Wohlstand gesichert werden.

Wir sind der Meinung als wirtschaftsstarkes Bundesland endlich Verantwortung übernehmen und vorbildlich konsequenten und sozial gerechten Klimaschutz vorranbringen zu müssen. Nur so schaffen wir zukunftsfähige Arbeitsplätze, eine gemeinwohlorientierte Gesellschaft und lebenswerte Zukunft für nachfolgende Generationen.
Diese Vision machen wir durch unseren Antritt zur Landtagswahl im März 2026 erneut wählbar.

ultimately it's about what's able to be pushed on people, and that will be what's most profitable and serves owner/ad interests. America has a more market fundamentalist culture cause we've let them decide the message/art.
