Das Zieldreieck liegt vielleicht, aber in einem anderen Zimmer, denn selbst Versorgungssicherheit und Wirtschaflichkeit nehmen bei fossilen Energien in der akuellen Lage immer weiter ab.
Die Rohstoffe kommen aus zweifelhaften, unverlässlichen Quellen, sicherer Betrieb der Anlagen kann nicht gewährleistet werden, die Schadstoffemissionen treiben den Klimawandel voran, was auch jegliche Wirtschaflichkeit zunichte macht.
Das ergibt nur Sinn für diejenigen, die immer schon von fossiler Energiegewinnung profitiert haben, die ausschließlich an kurzfristigen Geldgewinnen für sehr wenige Leute interessiert sind und denen die Zukunft schlicht scheißegal ist.
Das Credo dieser Leute lautet:
"Soll die Welt doch untergehen, Hauptsache, ich kann mit meinem Privatjet hinfliegen und währenddessen Hummer fressen und Schampus saufen."

Il presidente della casa automobilistica americana Ford, Jim Farley, ha rilasciato una dichiarazione tagliente sul futuro del mercato del lavoro nell’era dell’intelligenza artificiale. Secondo lui, le nuove tecnologie sono in grado di privare letteralmente la metà dei colletti bianchi del proprio lavoro, ovvero i dipendenti che lavorano in ufficio e svolgono compiti intellettuali.
Al forum internazionale Aspen Ideas Festival, Farley ha osservato che l’intelligenza artificiale ha un impatto asimmetrico sull’economia. Ha sottolineato che, da un lato, le nuove tecnologie aiutano e facilitano molti processi, ma dall’altro infliggono un duro colpo ad alcune professioni. Questo vale soprattutto per coloro che lavorano nell’ambito dell’elaborazione delle informazioni, del flusso di documenti e di altre attività d’ufficio.
Farley ha osservato che i progressi nell’intelligenza artificiale lasceranno inevitabilmente indietro molti dipendenti che per decenni hanno rappresentato la spina dorsale del mondo aziendale. Ha osservato che la tecnologia migliora la vita di molti, ma pone anche un serio interrogativo per la società: cosa succederà a coloro che saranno lasciati indietro? Secondo lui, la comunità globale non ha ancora un piano chiaro su come supportare queste persone.
La conversazione ha toccato anche il futuro dei lavoratori del settore manifatturiero. Farley ha riconosciuto che l’automazione e la robotica stanno gradualmente sostituendo le persone, ma finora questo riguarda un numero limitato di operazioni. Il CEO di Fiverr, Micha Kaufman, ha osservato nel suo discorso ai dipendenti che l’intelligenza artificiale minaccia i posti di lavoro di quasi tutte le categorie, dai programmatori agli avvocati e agli specialisti dell’assistenza. Kaufman ha definito quanto sta accadendo un segnale allarmante per tutti, indipendentemente dalla professione.
Anche la più grande banca americana, JPMorgan Chase, non si è fatta da parte. La direttrice della banca, Marianne Lake, ha affermato che nei prossimi anni l’azienda prevede di ridurre fino al 10% del personale, sostituendolo con algoritmi di intelligenza artificiale. Shopify ha modificato il suo approccio alle assunzioni in primavera. Ora, la dirigenza richiede ai manager di dimostrare che le attività non possono essere svolte utilizzando l’intelligenza artificiale prima di accettare di ampliare il team.
Anche Microsoft conferma la tendenza: l’azienda ha annunciato la riduzione di 9.000 dipendenti, pari al 4% del personale totale. Allo stesso tempo, l’azienda continua a investire attivamente decine di miliardi di dollari nello sviluppo di tecnologie di intelligenza artificiale. La minaccia di licenziamenti di massa non riguarda solo il settore privato. Il governo australiano, ad esempio, sta già implementando una politica sull’uso responsabile dell’intelligenza artificiale nelle agenzie governative. La Ministra delle Finanze australiana, Katy Gallagher, ha osservato che è importante considerare i diritti, gli interessi e il benessere delle persone quando si utilizza l’intelligenza artificiale nei servizi pubblici.
Tutti gli eventi confermano una tendenza in crescita: l’intelligenza artificiale sta influenzando sempre di più il mercato del lavoro, riducendo il fabbisogno di persone e costringendo aziende e governi a cercare nuove modalità per adattarsi agli inevitabili cambiamenti.

Working on a #HamRadio linked dipole for QRP. I designed and printed the winder because I couldn't find anything I was quite satisfied with. It has holes to hold FT82, FT140, or FT240 toroids (depending on power requirements) with zip ties. I haven't yet tuned up the 10m dipole sections wound on so far; I'll do that when it's not a tropical storm outside and I can raise it up on a mast to tune it in situ. Then I'll add sections for more bands; probably all the bands from 10m to 40m (10m, 12m, 15m, 17m, 20m, 30m, and 40m), linked with 2mm banana plugs. I'll probably bias the tuning towards the CW portions of the bands. Once I get all the sections in place, I'll plan to use a couple of light tent stakes to hold the arms out for an inverted V arrangement.
Yes, RG316 is lossy and this is over 30 feet of it, but this is for pedestrian use. I'd like to be able to carry it for one option with my KX3 when I'm packing everything in. I think this will be a more effective radiator than a loaded whip, making up for the loss in the coax, and fairly isotropic compared to an end-fed sloper. Also, because a center-fed dipole is anti-resonant on odd harmonics, I would like to try this for "social POTA" where multiple operators run multiple radios in relatively close proximity. I'm hoping that the combination of an anti-resonant antenna, bandpass filters, roofing filters, and more distance between antennas will fix the desense problems we've run into.
For lightweight portable operations, I'll be using my KX3, and I can leave the panadapter behind. In its place in the bag, I can put throw line, weights, etc.
This one uses very light gauge wire for the radiating elements. If this works, I might also make a similar unit for the IC-7300 that uses an FT140 toroid and can run 100W. If I do, I'll probably use polystealth or similar wire instead for the radiating elements.
I made a slightly different winder body tonight. I moved the strain relief holes to make room for the ring terminal on the end of the wire, and made an option for using cable ties to hold it in place. The cable ties interfered with unwinding, so I removed them and just put a piece of shrink wrap around that leg. The shrink wrap was probably overkill and I shouldn't have bothered.
I used fewer cable ties this time.
I did check out SWR. Right now it's tuned pretty well for 12M. I'll cut it back to 10m, then start adding links for more bands using 2mm bullet terminals. More pictures as I do that. Very curious whether I'll get enough adhesion on this silicone wire I'm trying out. If not, I'll buy something more robust; this is an experiment.

The Texas Hill Country, scene of the devastating floods, is known for flash floods. The area lies just along the Balcones Escarpment, which was formed 20-25 million years ago, dividing Texas into the Western plateau with hills and cliffs and the fertile low plains to the East.
The escarpment also traps moist winds from the Gulf, causing intense rainfall in the region.
Water from sudden downpours rushes down the hills into creeks and rivers causing flash floods.
