Trenord amplia il suo patrimonio di mezzi storici: è stato completato il restauro della locomotiva a vapore 240-05, costruita nel 1908 dalla Società Anonyme des Ateliers de la Meuse. Dopo l’ultima fase di test e l’abilitazione del personale, tornerà a viaggiare alla fine del 2025 su tratte turistiche. La 240-05 è una delle undici unità a vapore surriscaldato della serie originaria, acquistate da Ferrovie Nord Milano e utilizzate inizialmente per il trasporto merci. Grazie alla sua potenza e versatilità, fu poi impiegata anche per i passeggeri. Su linee come la Milano-Saronno e la Milano-Meda era in grado di trainare convogli da 650 tonnellate a 40 km/h e fino a 870 tonnellate a 30 km/h. Ritirata dal servizio nel 1976, è tornata nelle mani di Ferrovienord nel 1981 ed è oggi un prezioso pezzo di storia ferroviaria lombarda.
Intanto sono già in vendita i biglietti per le corse del treno storico – con locomotori elettrici – in programma tra settembre e novembre 2025. Le partenze sono da Milano Cadorna verso destinazioni suggestive come Como, Laveno Mombello, Asso e Novara. What features should I look for that would make my life better?
I've tried the desktop mode, which is a very cool feature, basically if you have monitor, mouse and keyboard, you can connect your phone and have a laptop / desktop like experience. Since these phones are getting quite powerful, it can be quite a good option. It should have window management and everything on a pretty secure OS.
I wasn't able to make it work. Out of box it just mirrors screen like with the old version. Even I turn on enable freeform windows on secondary screen, the prompt to mirror displays appears but it does nothing, even the mirroring does not work, although the monitor thinks it's connected and USB keyboard works. Has anyone successfully tried this on GrapheneOS?
