It was a fun contest and at the end I could not really decide which #cosplay I liked more seamcreator (Instagram, 2nd Picture) had a really fun performance but the cosplay from pink_lab_cosplay (Instagram, 3rd Picture) looked really good. In the end I decided to vote for pink_lab_cosplay. But it was really close.

Do you mean like, how many spammers [per time unit] per user of an instance? If so, I don't think I'd have a way to estimate that. Probably only the mods of each instance would know how many reports they get - assuming the spammers do generally get reported after a while, which I think is likely.
I think I'd be safe in estimating that m.s's rate is higher than scicomm.xyz's rate, though, because the mods here go to some trouble to ensure that everyone signing up here is (a) real, (b) here for appropriate reasons. I don't recall seeing a spammer on this instance yet, touch wood (been here since Nov 2022).
From m.s, I actually haven't been tracking how often I see one (and this question kind of makes me want to!) but enough that I've lost count. I do report them, and click the tickybox so that the report goes through to m.s mods. Usually the length of the account timeline is short, like a day, and it's the same post over and over, as non-sequitur replies to various people's posts ("using the reply function to spam" as it used to be called on Twitter). Sometimes I find one that's been at it a few days.
