This is sad. When the streaming services first came out, they provided access to so many quality TV shows and movies. I thought it was pretty cool when they started producing content of their own.
The quality of these offerings has devolved. I have not watched the films mentioned in the article. I checked them out, but they looked like crap.

I have to say, I have 3 federated Wordpress sites and never had to use a button like that… basically when you follow a blog on the Fediverse and reply to it from here, the comments sync seamlessly…
So the problem with GoToSocial is that it doesn't have a client part. It's a pure server and you need a different client app to access it (e.g. Phanpy, Elk, or one of the many mobile apps). That is why the reply link doesn't work. There's simply no API for it, even though the server itself is mostly compatible with Mastodon, this part will never work. 🙂

correct. I don't think it gets mentioned very often and in reality it isn't much of a hindrance. But I also only learned about it from the docs when I was already committed to deploying it. 😅 @elena @gotosocial @carloshr

While loading the kayak I took this photo of the sky. The feathery clouds and a faint halo around the sun stayed with me while I was on the lake. I shared the lake with a Loon and a Belted Kingfisher. And, since it is a long weekend, with a few motorized boaters. Some of them don't care about the wake they leave behind when passing a kayak. But since they are so fast, I still quickly had my peace and quiet.
