I'm working with a small team on an app that aims to improve integration between computers and mobile devices 📱💻, with a strong focus on privacy, control, and transparency 
We've been using the working name Pablo Connect. It's based on my pseudonym, and to me it makes sense. It's personal and honest 
But the team doesn't really like it 
They feel it's too casual or just not fitting for a wider audience. Maybe they're right.
So I'm asking here. We're looking for a name that's simple, original, and strong enough to carry the project forward 
Something that reflects the idea of connecting devices and people without creating dependency 🌐 A name that doesn't sound like a corporate product, but also doesn't fade from memory after three seconds.

A plan circulating in the White House to develop the “Gaza Riviera” as a string of high-tech megacities has been dismissed as an “insane” attempt to provide cover for the large-scale ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian territory’s population.
Named the Gaza Reconstitution, Economic Acceleration and Transformation Trust – or GREAT – the proposal was reportedly developed by some of the same Israelis who created and set in motion the US- and Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) with financial planning contributed by Boston Consulting Group.
Most controversially, the 38-page plan suggests what it calls “temporary relocation of all of Gaza’s more than 2 million population” – a proposal that would amount to ethnic cleansing, potentially a genocidal act.
Palestinians would be encouraged into “voluntary” departure to another country or into restricted, secure zones during reconstruction. Those who own land would be offered “a digital token” by the trust in exchange for rights to redevelop their property, to be used to finance a new life elsewhere. Those who stay would be housed in properties with a tiny footprint of 323 sq ft –minuscule even by the standards of many non-refugee camp homes in Gaza.

My grandparent's old house is for sale, and it is strange to look at the photos of a house I know so well because I spent every summer and many weekends there as a child.
We sold it in 2010, but the renovation done since looks horrible! At least the old 50s decor had some style.
It's also a little sad to see how badly they kept the garden and fruit garden. My grandad put so much work into keeping it nice.

Giorni fa, ho conosciuto casualmente @thunderpussycat e dopo alcuni scambi di messaggi, ho scoperto che aveva scritto un libro che mi ha subito incuriosito.
L’ho letto e devo ammettere … non sapevo tante cose sul Fediverso italiano.
Il libro non è un romanzo o un manuale tecnico, piuttosto è un dettagliato resoconto storico sulla vita di un Hacker nell’ambito sociale.
Si parte con la definizione di Hacker, passando poi alla creazione di gruppi attivisti dello scenario Hacker italiano, a come viene creata una delle prime istanze italiane nel Fediverso (mastodon.bida.im), gestita dal collettivo di Bologna che successivamente ha ispirato e collaborato alla creazione di altre realtà famose nel Fediverso italiano.
Il loro scopo, metodologie, regolamenti e dubbi che vengono discussi e chiariti.
Una panoramica sulle varie piattaforme software che compongono il Fediverso e considerazioni sul suo possibile futuro.
Non vado oltre, anche perché non sono bravo in questo e non voglio spoilerare, ma devo ammettere che molte cose, adesso, le vedo sotto una luce diversa.
