Quand j'explique à mes amis italiens que les français ont des gros problèmes d'orthographe, ils ne me croient pas.

Aujourd'hui, je trouve la phrase suivant sur "Chez Pol", la newsletter de Libération :

"Les rouges, notamment, ont pu exprimé qu’ils ne comprenaient pas pourquoi ..."

Maintenant, il semble bizarre qu'un italien, qu'il ne parle pas un français très correct non plus, pointe du doigt les fautes d'orthographe d'un journaliste français.

En effet, les italiens repèrent tout de suite ce type d'erreurs, parce qu'en italien le participe passé et l'infinitif ne sont pas homophones. Donc, si on traduit la phrase ci-dessus mot par mot, on note immédiatement que ça ne va pas.

Et je vous assure qu'échanger infinitif avec participe passé est l'erreur d'orthographe qu'on trouve par tout, dans les emails, dans les documents officiels même, et il est fait par tout le monde, même les gens vraiment très éduqués.

Il faudrait peut-être accepter que c'est très difficile de rester concentré tout le temps pour éviter ce type d'erreurs.

I have the STRANGEST of notions at times. I've been journaling in what I call my "Wonky Journal"

It's called that as I have this thing where I'll take a pristine journal and start with my best writing and nice neat lines but then give up when I make a spelling mistake or smudge etc thereby "ruining" the journal.

So I decided I cannot ruin this one as it was never meant to be perfect. (Prefect is an unachievable state anyway!)

Anyway I digress. My writing (especially scribbled notes) is TERRIBLE and it slopes up and down the page. However I started adding doodles and small drawings in my journal to help illustrate my mood, thoughts, observances etc etc etc.

Now My writing is terrible but my drawing skills? Even worse I'm afraid 😁 I have zero artistic talent... which makes my current notion very puzzling to me but I just can't shift the idea.

My journal is plain paper (doesn't help with the writing I can tell you XD) and it's quite thick.. I fancy getting one of these tiny pocket sized watercolour palettes and using that for my journaling.

but dear god. I know nothing about paining. I look at some of these on Amazon and they look Jank. Obviously AI generated images of the same item with very few actual reviews. -OR- they're expensive , obviously aimed at the professional kits with more features than I need.

I also don't want to have to carry around a lot of stuff with me. Already enough carrying my massive journal and a pen.

this is the sort of thing I'm looking at (not this one obvs.. I mean look at the image!)
