Patreon has mentioned that custom domains are coming, which is important. But, as of now, it doesn't look like you can import your existing subscribers list from elsewhere, which makes migrating from Substack to Patreon rather more challenging.

Whereas Substack encourages people to "follow" you instead of "subscribing," and followers connections are owned/controlled by Substack.
