Users attention is sold to advertisers. #Apple's business model is selling the device and integrated services, which means its users are its customers (although Apple still plays with selling their users too).
Android currently allows users to opt out of being sold by Google. Once they lock down the ecosystem, that will become less and less possible.
This is and has no longer been true for a while now.
AppStore is full of ads. OS full of pseudo- anonymized (this can't be a thing) tracking. And next up is a plan to add ads to maps apps. Oh well 🙄

It’s good to keep super cheap film around (even if you don’t like it - I don’t care for this film) for testing cameras. I think I’ll also play around with seeing if I can shoot this at 400, just because. I’m pretty confident in the shutter on this, it all works smoothly so it will mainly be testing for light leaks and rangefinder focus.

You'll be shocked to learn that *nobody had guns*, and after cuffing and groping everybody the pigs had to let everybody go.
One client told us when the pig harassing him saw us filming he said "oh shit," and immediately the whole dynamic deescalated compared to the previous round this afternoon, when the pigs were screaming at them the whole time. Multiple clients, including both the lovely gentlemen who had been directly harassed and a couple older gentlemen watching nearby, told us they felt safer once they saw us filming and really appreciated us being there for them.
Please if you haven't done #copwatch before, take your responsibility to your community seriously and be ready to step up when you see pig activity going down, most particularly if you are white or white-adjacent because the piggies really do poop their pants a little when they see that your ass knows what's up

La giornata inizia splendidamente. Durante la notte ho dormito poco (nulla) ma almeno ho visto le stelle, che da noi ormai sono impensabili.
Verso le 7 del mattino però è arrivata una perturbazione: la pioggia era incessante e allora ho superato i crinali dell'Isola e poi sono sceso fino a Playa de Santiago, un porticciolo stupendo. 33 gradi.
