Più che un libro, Antonio Sixty Fan Club è un’operazione di arte concettuale: un oggetto da collezione, portato con sublime sprezzatura in una collana di libri.
Consiste infatti nella presentazione di un mannello di materiali degli anni Ottanta, quando l’autore istituì un fan club sulla rivista Lanciostory, ricevendo un gran numero di lettere da giovani lettrici, qui pubblicate senza interventi salvo la cancellazione delle circostanze biografiche.
Ecco dunque che l’autore ha saputo trasformare un episodio goliardico della sua gioventù in qualcosa di più di un esperimento situazionista: ha piuttosto convertito un materiale documentario di una certa rilevanza sociologica in un’installazione artistica degna di alcune delle esperienze più rilevanti dell’attualità poetica: i documenti poetici di Franck Leibovici, o i lavori di Kenneth Goldsmith, dove la lenizione dei confini tra letterario e non letterario non destituisce l’esperienza di lettura di piacere; anzi, si esce dal confronto con tutte le minime infrazioni alle leggi della testualità che caratterizzano queste lettere, divertiti e commossi dall’empatia che un volume come questo può suscitare.

We now know beyond doubt the UK is illegally arming Israel during genocide
Matt Kennard has reported for Drop Site News that the Labour government has sent 8,630 separate munitions to Israel since arms licences were suspended in September 2024. He based his article on a report by Palestinian Youth Movement, Progressive International, and Workers for a Free Palestine. They obtained their evidence from the Israel Tax Authority.In an attempt to avoid incriminating itself, the British government is refusing to say what the deliveries to Israel contained. They are hiding behind the national security excuse which they quite literally see as their get out of jail free card.
While the UK government pretends all shipments are not for military operations in Gaza, Israel categorises the deliveries as:
* Bombs, Grenades, Torpedoes, Mines, Missiles And Similar Munitions Of War And Parts Thereof
* Parts and accessories of revolvers or pistols
* Parts and accessories of shotguns and rifles
* Rocket launchers; flame-throwers; grenade launchers; torpedo tubes and similar projectors
* Tanks and other armoured fighting vehicles, motorised whether or not fitted with weapons, and parts of such vehicles
