Il romanzo possiede una struttura temporale lineare e la narrazione risulta ben ritmata, mai noiosa, capace di far sì che il lettore si interessi in modo particolare alla storia. Certo, sarebbe bene leggere anche i libri precedenti ma si presta anche a una lettura solitaria.
