*NEW LOCATION: Chollerford and the ruins of the eastern abutment of the Roman Chesters Bridge*

Chollerford is a little village north of Hexham in Northumberland, and very close to the trail of Hadrian's Wall. In fact, it is here that the wall crossed the Tyne via a Roman bridge, Chesters Bridge.

Light filters through the leafy canopy above, casting dappled shadows over the ancient ruin.

Recentemente mi sta intrigando molto guardando Star Trek: The Next Generation. Avevo già visto pochi episodi della serie originale ma TNG è una di quelle serie che ai tempi riuscivano a darsi da fare con la scrittura.

Solo che non me l'aspettavo MAI in vita mia che Star Trek è così misterioso e strambo allo stesso tempo. Non come esattamente ci fanno vedere la NASA, Elon Musk, tutte ste robe qua.

Another day, another tiny jumping spider.

I think this is a female copper sun jumper (Heliophanus cupreus; Kuprifge Sonnenspringspinne in 🇩🇪), judging from the white markings on the iridescent dark body, the light legs, & yellow palps.

It was too low to the ground in a difficult part of the garden for me to be able to get down & capture the characteristic huge eyes 👀🤷‍♂️
