The misinformation campaign from Roblinux is back in force. I've received six e-mails so far this afternoon from people claiming to be in the Robolinux community asking when we are going to update our Robolinux page and mark the distro as active.

Yesterday is when. We updated the Robolinux page as active and listed its new version information within two hours of its launch. It's weird that 30 hours _later_ we start receiving e-mails from people asking when the page will be updated.

Chollerford is a little village north of Hexham in Northumberland, and very close to the trail of Hadrian's Wall. In fact, it is here that the wall crossed the Tyne via a Roman bridge, Chesters Bridge.

At the Chesters Bridge ruins, a maze of moss‑encrusted limestone blocks forms the ruined floor and lower walls of the old structure. The blocks are laid in a rough grid, many wearing a bright green cloak of moss, with gaps where roots intrude. Three large trees rise through the masonry, their trunks pushing through the stone and roots threading between the blocks. The surrounding ground is grass and earth, with a narrow worn path along the edge and a low, mossy bank beyond. Light filters through the leafy canopy above, casting dappled shadows over the ancient ruin.

Recentemente mi sta intrigando molto guardando Star Trek: The Next Generation. Avevo già visto pochi episodi della serie originale ma TNG è una di quelle serie che ai tempi riuscivano a darsi da fare con la scrittura.

Solo che non me l'aspettavo MAI in vita mia che Star Trek è così misterioso e strambo allo stesso tempo. Non come esattamente ci fanno vedere la NASA, Elon Musk, tutte ste robe qua.

Another day, another tiny jumping spider.

I think this is a female copper sun jumper (Heliophanus cupreus; Kuprifge Sonnenspringspinne in 🇩🇪), judging from the white markings on the iridescent dark body, the light legs, & yellow palps.

It was too low to the ground in a difficult part of the garden for me to be able to get down & capture the characteristic huge eyes 👀🤷‍♂️

Bloomberg reports Russian oil giants saw profits collapse in the first half of 2025: Rosneft 245B rub vs 773B last year, Lukoil 287B vs 590B, Gazprom Neft halved to 150B, Tatneft down two-thirds to 54B, Russneft down threefold to 11.8B, and Surgutneftegaz posted record losses of –452B. Nearly half the sector ended with combined losses of ~750B rub.
