found some slightly creepy creatures on Rodeo Beach this morning. turned over a washed up and battered boat line float - and the surface started writhing.
according to #inaturalist these are probably Japanese Skeleton Shrimp, so i turned it back over and out of the sun, placing it back in the surf.

Du meinst die Mastodon eigene Implementierung? Nun, es gibt Standards im Fediverse, die von nahezu allen Fediplattformen seit Jahren umgesetzt sind und plattformübergreifend funktionieren.
In der Fep von Mastodon habe ich gelesen, dass ihnen der Standard nicht ausreicht, sie aber kompatibel sein wollen. Wenn das nicht so ist, dann leben wir wohl weiter in verschiedenen Welten. Sehr schade.

Die beiden Accounts sind lediglich für einen Zugriff von außerhalb des Fediverse eingeschränkt. Ansonsten teilen sie ins Fediverse hinein und sind darüber erreichbar. Sie können also eingebettet werden.
Was ich damit meine: es gibt keine weitere Einschränkung der Accounts innerhalb des Fediverse.

I didn't fully appreciate what happened in this photo until I looked back at the pictures later. I suspect the black kitten was in the middle of bathing itself when I so rudely interrupted them. They don't normally have a leg sticking out of their head.
