in reply to Morten Mosgaard • • •@mosgaard I presume this is because of Discover, because I’ve had no issues getting no algorithm and having a regular following feed, and I’ve found Bluesky more interesting.
FWIW, whenever I’m checking the Linux feeds both here and there, there’s more Linux curious people on Bluesky I can mingle with and learn from, while here tends to be full of Linux users preaching to the choir (this is still on Bluesky but slightly less so, because of the more general audience).

in reply to Flaky • • •@Flaky my impression is, that I have a harder time finding relevant cirkles for me on Bluesky. And I see the information design as a part of this problem. I find no real use in hashtags (too crowded often), where on Mastodon I’m way more in control of what I see and from which cirkles (being aware of different kinds of servers fx.).
But I can easily see why people can find what they look for on Bluesky, if the algorithmic nature supports the purpose of the user. It just doesn’t for me.
