Lo que empezΓ³ como una comedia escatolΓ³gica ha terminado como una ficciΓ³n educativa sobre la pubertad vista por millones de adolescentes en todo el mundo, atenciΓ³n: voluntariamente.
ΒΏCΓ³mo lo ha conseguido? Pues, segΓΊn mi opiniΓ³n, siendo tan salvaje, desinhibida, divertida, cruel y visceral como la propia adolescencia lo es hoy en dΓa.
Y no solo en materia sexual, sino tambiΓ©n en la (tormentosa) construcciΓ³n de la personalidad y las relaciones con sus iguales.
La serie muestra una sexualidad tan explΓcita como muchos solo habΓamos visto en el porno. Pero, al revΓ©s que el porno, lo hace como testimonio de un sorprendente alto valor psicolΓ³gico .
Big Mouth aspira a enseΓ±arnos a ser guarros bien, a darnos permiso para liberar nuestros deseos e identidades sexuales sin censura, pero de un modo benigno para nosotros mismos y nuestros compaΓ±eros sexuales y afectivos.
Big mouth, ademΓ‘s, rompe el tabΓΊ que, en general, restringe a las fantasΓas patriarcales el humor mΓ‘s explicito; en la serie, la sexualidad femenina y queer se exhibe y satiriza como pocas o ninguna vez he visto en un producto mainstream, con pretensiΓ³n de exhibir ese conocimiento a todos los pΓΊblicos, y no solo a sus nichos por vΓas mΓ‘s discretas.
TambiΓ©n lograron desarrollar un personaje trans que recibiΓ³ buenas crΓticas por parte de la comunidad aludida. No es poco teniendo en cuenta el campo de batalla ideolΓ³gico en que se ha convertido la adolescencia trans.
La pubertad estΓ‘ sobre todo magnΓficamente narrada gracias a la participaciΓ³n de personajes fantΓ‘sticos como el mosquito de la ansiedad, la gata de la depresiΓ³n, el monstruo de las hormonas, el mago de la culpaβ¦ con los que los protagonistas dialogan todo el rato.
AsΓ, el monΓ³logo interior adolescente queda escenificado sin tapujos ni censuras.
