I'm so glad I left the politics groupchat I was in with friends cause I kept getting ganged up on, cause a former member has returned and is apparently a LOT more of a Zionist and centrist fetishist than he used to be. One of the members is telling me horror stories of positions he's taken like that Mamdani is antisemitic. I knew as soon as he disagreed with me there's a genocide going on in a one on one chat I never wanted to hear his opinions on the subject again.

The toughest barrier to landing a job that I ever encountered, was a "union shop". Despite my being highly qualified, I had no relatives or contacts in the union, and the union told me to take a flying F because the last place I worked was non union. Then they brought in a union officer's kid with zero experience and gave him the job.
