today in #flohmarkt, we had a nice PR-merging session. the community provided many valuable contributions. among them most popular tags in the navbar, displaying other items of the same user at the bottom of each user's items and the option to enforce currencies as dropdowns with multipe options instead of free-text fields.

@Celtillos What you see is the website that contains the code that Flohmarkt was written with.

System administrators can install Flohmarkt on a server connected to the internet and, in this way, that server will contact all the Flohmarkt servers in the world.

But all this is only for system administrators.

Simple users can connect to any of those servers (here you can find a list of public servers) and view the ads from the web. You can view them from your PC browser or from your smartphone browser.

There is also an app for Android: it is called Flohra and it is very nice to use, but it has been developed recently and does not yet have all the features that exist on the website. At the moment it is not available on the playstore but must be installed manually.

I hope I have managed to explain to you how the philosophy of software like Flohmarkt works.

@Celtillos To install Flohra on Android, you need to
1) open the project website, on the releases page: codeberg.org/RocketInSpace/Flo…
2) choose the latest version
3) click on Flohra-universal-release.apk to download the file
4) at that point the Android system will tell you that the file in question has not been downloaded from a certified Store and therefore you will have to
5) go to the file manager, click on the .apk file and authorize your Android system to install programs from unknown sources

Remember that the Flohra app currently does not allow you to register to one of the Flohmarkt servers, but it is practically a read-only app
