Italian speakers, I need your help!
There's the line in Diodato's song "Solo":
e non mi fermerà certo il pianto di una strega
I wonder if "il pianto di una strega" is an idiom, or if it means exactly what it says: the crying of a witch. (Whatever that might mean though.)

I've just read the lyrics and it doesn't make sense to me either.
He probably needed a word to rhyme with "frega" and "strega" was all that he thought of 😁
