If you're wondering what the eye 👁️ icon on the Mastodon web interface does, here's the answer:

When a thread contains posts hidden by content warnings, clicking the eye icon toggles all the thread's posts open or closed. This is really useful, it means you don't have to open each post one by one to read the whole thread.

If there are no CWs in the thread, the eye icon does nothing.

(There is also an eye icon on the official Mastodon app, but this just hides or reveals one post at a time.)

Aye bruh is it possible yet to follow/bookmark an entire instance? I have accounts on other instances that I don't log in on and I Wana delete them to have less clutter. Thx in advance. :mastodance:

@bruhSoulz some applications like Fedilab allow you to follow other instances. To be precise, you can follow all messages from the public timeline as well as those from your approved contacts.

Umm I'm using fedilab as we speak. Is there a difference between the Google play store version and the fdroid version 🤔

@bruhSoulz to follow an instance you must search for any account of that instance, open the profile of that account and click on the context menu at the top right. At this point you must choose the "follow instance" option

There are also other applications that allow you to follow the instance, but I don't remember which ones they are; you could ask @Fedi.Tips
